DJI might be best known for its drones, but the company also sells several portable power stations, intended to charge anything from drones to cooking tops. DJI has now revealed the Power 2000 Portable Power Station, giving you all the power you need for your outdoor adventures.
You can also expand the DJI Power 2000 for longer trips or higher power needs. It can connect with up to ten additional 2048Wh Power Expansion Batteries, increasing the total capacity to a massive 22,528 Wh. This essentially means you can transition from a picnic with power to a long, off-grid adventure.
The Power 2000 also stands out because of its many output ports, delivering a steady 3000W of continuous power. This lets it run a wide variety of household and camping devices. It has four AC output ports, four USB-C ports, and four USB-A ports, allowing multiple devices to charge at the same time.
Another significant bonus for campers is the DJI Power 2000’s flexible charging options, which lets it recharge in various ways, regardless of your location. You can charge it quickly using your own home electricity, reaching 80% in just 55 minutes and a full charge in 90 minutes with its 2200W fast charging feature.
The Power 2000 also supports solar charging, allowing it to recharge with up to 1800W of solar input using the DJI Power 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger. This method can fully recharge the unit in about 75 minutes. Car charging is another convenient option, using the DJI Power 1kW Super Fast Car Charger or the 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger to pull extra power from the car’s alternator. This method takes about 145 minutes to fully recharge the power station.
The best part is the smart hybrid charging system, which allows you to use both AC and DC power at the same time. This method prioritizes solar energy and utilizes grid power as a backup.
Beyond just providing power, the DJI Power 2000 includes ultra-quiet operation. So, it produces noise no louder than 30dB in Standard Recharge Mode, which is quieter than many home refrigerators. The DJI Home App is essentially a remote control used with it, offering an easy way to manage the Power 2000. Using the app, you can turn AC output on or off, adjust settings, and check power levels from a distance.
This is great for anyone who needs extra power on the road and wants a convenient device that can be expanded upon when needed. You can buy it for $1,299 from DJI's online store, and it should appear at third-party retailers soon.
