T-Mobile is no stranger to home internet plans with its expansive 5G network, but over the last year, the company has worked to build out (and buy) a vast fiber internet infrastructure. Today, T-Mobile announced that it will officially launch its fiber home internet service on June 5th, with some lucrative pricing and a 5-year price lock guarantee.
To start, T-Mobile's new fiber service will be available to over 500,000 households throughout the United States, and the carrier made sure to mention that "there are no monthly equipment fees, installation charges, or annual contracts." Instead, just fast fiber internet with unlimited data without breaking the bank. For those interested, here are the initial plans available at launch for new and existing customers.

What Is Fiber Internet (And How Is It Different)?
Fiber Internet is the latest change to the way data is transferred around the globe.
T-Mobile Fiber Home Internet Plans:
- Fiber 500: A reliable option for everyday streamers, remote workers and smaller households who want just the right amount of speed. Equipment is included; there are no data caps and no annual contracts. Available for $60/month with AutoPay and a T-Mobile voice line or $75/month with Autopay.
- Fiber 1 Gig: Ideal for busy households with multiple people streaming, gaming and using smart devices at the same time. Comes with everything included in Fiber 500, plus Whole Home Wi-Fi with mesh devices to help extend the Wi-Fi signal throughout the home. Available for $75/month with AutoPay and a T-Mobile voice line or $90/month with AutoPay.
- Fiber 2 Gig: Top-tier speed for high-demand users, smart homes, creators and tech lovers who push their connection to the max. Comes with everything included in Fiber 1 Gig. Available for $90/month with AutoPay and a T-Mobile voice line or $105/month with AutoPay.
Additionally, T-Mobile will offer a fourth option, the "Fiber Founders Club," which will be available only for a limited time in select regions. It's fast, affordable, and comes with a 10-year price guarantee. The company says this is the best way customers can "future-proof their connectivity," and it'll be a 2 Gig plan for $70 a month when enrolled in autopay.
"With the official launch of T-Mobile Fiber, we're delivering on our promise to bring better broadband to more people — the Un-carrier way," said Allan Samson, Chief Broadband Officer, T-Mobile.
T-Mobile will officially launch these four new fiber home internet plans on June 5th. Similar to some of its recent phone plans, it has a five-year long-term price guarantee. This means your bill shouldn't go up, at least for the next five years. However, we've seen carriers offer similar deals but find other ways to raise prices through fees and other options, and T-Mobile has faced legal trouble on this front, so keep that in mind.
While this initial launch only covers around 500k customers, T-Mobile plans to expand that reach to over 12 million people by 2030. This is only the beginning. Finally, all T-Mobile Fiber plans include the provider's usual perks, including T-Mobile Tuesdays, exclusive deals, and MLB TV.
Those interested can head to the T-Mobile fiber website and check availability, then sign up starting June 5th.
